Dear Friends of Oaken Acres,

This is the 12th year that Oaken Acres has participated in GIVE DEKALB COUNTY.

In that time, our suppporters have funded a multitude of projects and operational expenses through this fantastic, 24-hour online fundraiser. An eagle flight cage, one-acre fawn enclosure, waterfowl pond,

carnivore cage, examination equipment, incubators, laundry upgrades, all to help care for and

heal our wounded patients. Just last year, our project was a new pond for WALLY, our beaver kit!

This year? The oldest building on our farm is coming down to make way for a

SECOND CHANCE building dedicated to the care of our most under-served

patient - the raccoon.

Wild lives are counting on you to make a difference..... on May 1st!

We are asking for your help again this year.

With your help, Oaken Acres has become one of the largest wildlife centers in Illinois!

With your help, we are able to save more wild lives. With your help, thousands of orphaned

or injured wild animals get a second chance to be wild every year.

Your support makes our plans and dreams for our future come true.

We are constantly striving to become the best wildlife center we can be.

Your donation to GIVE DEKALB COUNTY will make that goal achievable.

Thank you so much for being wildlife champions!

Very sincerely,

Kathy Stelford, Founder and ED
